I'm so happy you are here. Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I am thrilled to be able to share my stories with readers all over the world.
A little about my books: I write them with alllll the feels. I want my characters and their stories to be relatable and authentic. I love making the ordinary extraordinary. So, buckle up, grab that glass of wine or cup of coffee, and get ready to laugh, cry, and cheer from behind the pages.
Pieces of Me
My first short story was about a duck named Puddle-Duck who just wanted to jump in puddles. For the highly-anticipated sequel, Puddle Duck became Hip Hop Duck who discovered his love for dance. I was seven years old. I was also published before I was twelve years old when my mom submitted a short story of mine to Highlights Kid's magazine about the origin of the peanut butter and fluffernutter sandwich. You're welcome.
For years, I thought I wanted to become a songwriter. I had countless notebooks full of songs, poetry, and random thoughts and feelings; however, I couldn't carry a tune (and still can't lol). I never thought they would ever see the light of day, so I decided to incorporate some of them into the sequel book two of The Salt City Diaries.
I LOVE cinnamon rolls. It's a passion, really. I can never walk by a Cinnabon and not buy one. (No, I'm not being paid to say this, however, I would love to take payment in cinnamon rolls—if that is all possible. Cinnabon, are you listening?!).
Lastly, I'm a new mom, learning the art of juggling both mommy duties and book writing. Out of all my accomplishments, she is absolutely #1.
